Propane
PRP SERIES are aircooled liquid modular chillers with all the benefits of the natural refrigerant R290 and modularity.
R290 represents the natural alternative to traditional HFC refrigerants with high GWP. Propane has excellent environmental characteristics as it has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) and negligible warming potential (GWP = 3). In addition its thermodynamic proprieties make it suitable for a wide range of applications: comfort, industrial and low water temperature.
Modularity allows high redundancy thanks to the possibility to interconnect up to 10 modules working as a single chiller with up to 10 partialization steps while each module is still able to work as a stand-alone chiller. Modularity means scalability: further modules can be added at a later date when cooling capacity requirements increase. Modularity means high reliability: in the event of any malfunction, each module can be easily isolated from the others, which can continue to operate while the faulty module is repaired, in this manner costly production downtime can be avoided.
High reliability is achieved also thanks to condenser coils with copper tubes and aluminium fins, which ensure long chiller life.
PRP is available in standard (PRP.120) and high efficiency (PRP.100) version.
